Ernest Archibald Taylor (1874–1951) was a Scottish designer and artist associated with the Glasgow Style and the Arts and Crafts movement. Born in Greenock, he began his career as a shipyard draughtsman before studying at the Glasgow School of Art. In the 1890s, he joined Wylie & Lochhead, where he designed furniture featuring stylized floral motifs and geometric forms. Taylor exhibited at the 1901 Glasgow International Exhibition and the 1902 Turin Exhibition. He taught furniture design at the Glasgow School of Art and later moved to Manchester to design stained glass for George Wragge Ltd. Between 1911 and 1914, he and his wife, artist Jessie M. King, ran the Shealing Atelier art school in Paris.
