An Arts and Crafts coal purdonium inlaid with stylised floral details with two handy upper drawers and pull down coal box retaining the original liner, stood on brass stylised floral castors. This could be easily converted to take newspapers or magazines. Height 31 1/2", Width 20 1/2", Depth 14 1/2". Circa 1900.
