An impressive exhibition quality Aesthetic Movement silver plated oil lamp by Elkington. Decorated with a central peacock beneath three Nordic style architectural cross beams supported on three tri-form gilt column uprights emulating bamboo gadrooned base with three serpentine feet with engraved foliage details through out, surmounted with a ruby cut glass oil reservoir and acid etched hand cut period shade. Height 27" Width of base 10".
