A Pair of Arts & Crafts Silver Plated Candlesticks with Semi Precious Cabochons

An impressive pair of tall Arts & Crafts silver plated candlesticks with semi-precious cabochons to the stem and to the central knop decorated with stylised floral detailing on eight lions paw feet. In a medieval style with a strong Gothic Revival influence, no makers mark. These may well be an earlier pair of candlesticks with a later inscription: Inscribed to one side in memory- Frank Parish-9th May 1906.
