Charles Bevan attributed. A gothic Revival side chair with scroll carvings to the upper sides and incised decoration framing the backrest, with chamfered, and carved, and dot decoration, and again to the front seat corners. The ring turned legs have octagonal tops. Original brass and ceramic castors to the feet. The hind legs where they kick out at the back have a subtle fan carved detail, perfectly put. Circa 1875. £2800.
