An Aesthetic Movement tall back ebonized armchair. The turnings are in keeping with other E. W. Godwin designs, and the arms are identical to the Old English or Jacobean armchair. The S shaped back is also the same as two other cane armchairs we have available on our website, and the same as a third E. W. Godwin armchair with a William Watt label now in a private collection.
