Morris and Co, Philip Webb attributed. A set of seven Classic Arts Crafts Sussex chairs consisting of two armchairs and five side chairs. This set has been fully restored, ie dismantling the chairs, cleaning all the joints, re glueing and clamping overnight. This should always be completed before the new rush is laid because if the chair becomes loose at the joints afterwards, then the rush would have to be cut off to repair the chairs. I have had the rush professionally renewed. armchairs measure height 34", width of arms 21", depth 16 1/2".
