Royal Doulton. A Gothic Revival comical Jug depicting a Monk in three scenes

A Royal Daulton Lambeth Gothic Revival comical Jug depicting a Monk in three scenes eating his fill and getting rather drunk. The first scene his plate is full and there is a bird to the lower left side and a flagon of Mead to the right. The second scene he is half way through his dinner. The third scene he has finished his meal and rather drunk from polishing off all the mead and the flagon is laying on it's side, the bird has jumped up on to the table and is finishing of the scraps. Approx measurements Height 10", Width 4". Circa 1880.
