Spital and Clark of Birmingham. Attributed. A set of three ‘enormous’ Arts and Crafts blacksmith made six-arm chandeliers. A charming interlacing stem within writhen central form, with spherical centre piece decorated with scrolling details that have been hand cut and scrolled from the six main floral parts within the sphere. Only a master blacksmith would have the skills to hand hammer and make such a beautifully fluid intertwined design.

Two of the central spheres have been gilded and the writhen uprights have gilt highlights. One has no gilt to the iron.

Please note the conical covers to the top are not original and have now been removed.

Dimensions total height 81”. There is 15” of centre tube which could be reduced to make a lesser total height of 66”.

Width across the arms 50”, depth across the arms 50”.
