Thomas Jeckyll attributed. A subtle Anglo- Japanese style drop leaf oak occasional table, the oval top inlaid with a single flowing flower to the central panel, and a single flower rising from a planter in the Japanese style to both sides. The angled and arched feet are incised with lattice decoration and they are united by a ring-turned lower stretcher. Measures:

Width 16cm with flaps down, Width across with flaps up 76. 5cm. Provenance: Purchased from Ken Hill House, Snettisham, Norfolk built by Sir Edward Green; From an important collection of furniture designed by Thomas Jeckyll for Edward Green, sold through Christie's, at the Ken Hill house sale, 13th September 1999.
