A rare and important set of Anglo-Japanese walnut wall shelves with ebonized and gilt painted Japanese Carp to the upper panel, finely carved stylized floral details to the doors with a shaped shelf and a mirror below with semi circular fretwork device to the base. See Art Furniture designed by Edward W. Godwin FSA and manufactured by William Watt 21 Grafton St. ‘StudentFurniture’ Plate No4.
