Wylie and Lochhead, attributed. An Arts & Crafts oak and glazed two-door bookcase in the style of C F A Voysey with circular caps for candles to the front uprights which are set slightly forward of the doors. An open-top shelf with a full-width plate stay for displaying plates etc. It has five pewter and ebonized stylized floral inlay details, one to the very top and two to the upper doors, and two more to the fielded panels to the bottom of the doors, with stylized cut-outs to the top at each shaped side and to the base. Retaining its four original adjustable shelves. It was an overcast day so some of the images look a little dark but the main image and close-ups show its true oak color.
