A large and extremely rare and important original 'Donnemara' Donegal Arts and Crafts woollen rug, designed by one of the most famous British architects of the Arts and Crafts Movement. Charles Francis Annesley Voysey. Voysey designed this in 1902 with stylised roses and tulips in reds and greens.

The rug is in wonderful original condition and the colours are still as vibrant as the day it was made.

Considering the age of this carpet it is in excellent condition with very little wear, the colours are still very vibrant, with a nice deep pile that feels and comfortable comfortable under foot.
