M. H. Baillie Scott
A period Arts and Crafts oak side chair with canted corners to the top and a circular double loop inlaid detail centred with a Mother-of-Pearl dot. The central backrest runs down through the seat uniting it to the back lower stretcher, a detail B. Scott used often. It originally had a rush seat which you can still see underneath.
